All we are saying
I am right now eating the largest apple the world has ever known. It is like the size of... a baby's head. Or a cantalope. I am burning a copy of More, soundtrack to an obscure movie, all songs by Pink Floyd. It is beautiful. I can imagine myself leaning back against a log at the edge of a campfire, listening to this on headphones, watching the sparks float up to join the dark starred sky, feeling but not hearing the cold wind that makes the pine trees writhe.
So, well, I've decided to work at Kachemak Bay State Park & Wilderness Park. I was put on the alternate list for the Americorp Backcountry Trails one, and Denali... well, I've tried faxing my app twice, and they haven't gotten it, so I'm just mailing it, and if they want me, then I'll think about it. Kachemak sounds just fine to me. Anyway, I'm outa here, and that's what's important. Hopefully the war will be over by then (please), but if it isn't, I'll at least be somewhere sorta detached from all that nonsense.
Later today I'll post some more pictures of Kachemak Bay, but until then... OHHH! THE CRYING SONG! MMM PINK FLOYD I LOVE YOU... until then, I'm outie, as the kids say.
