I did good stuff after all!

The internet on the fritz forced me to change my plans today, so instead of sitting here trying to stop reading lj and start job searching, I ended up emptying the dishwasher, getting all my clean clothes folded and hung, installing a curtain hanger in front of my closet, and organizing my cds. Yay! No list of jobs to pursue, but it's still nice to have visible evidence that I got stuff done.

Yum, I'm eating baked halibut.

I considered joining environment a few minutes ago, but decided against it. Most of the posts are focused on all the evil, depressing things happening to the natural world. I'd rather they focused on what we can do to help, what other people are doing to help, ways for me to get involved.

I'm aware of how preachy I've been on here the last few weeks, and although I probably won't be able to help myself sometimes, I'll try to be less preachy.

Last night I realized that I've had this journal for over two years now.
