I just learned that my name aloud (Aimee) sounds a lot like the Icelandic word for 'different': heimi. This makes me happy, as it obviously means that I will live a life different from most Americans, and will in fact eventually marry a native Icelander and become an Icelandic citizen living in some Icelandic town in Iceland.
