Did I ever mention in all of my Neko Case ravings that I went and saw her live in Portland? Cause I did. She was truly amazing. I got her autograph and stuff. Stood around afterwards while one of the opening acts smoked like a chimney and talked my cousin's ear off. She's a solo singer, yet she smokes a pack a day. Her singing was so raspy you could barely hear it over the music. But Neko Case brought the house down, caused the sky to rain down blood and fire, etc. tired figures of speech.
