Is my Dork showing?

I feel so good right now. So, so good. I'll be up all night making cards for everyone with my trusty old pirated paint shop pro, but I really, really don't care. I downloaded the Two Towers soundtrack, and I'm listening to that and Sigur Rós, and OH my god, this is, this is absolutely some of the most beautiful stuff I have ever heard (and I rarely make such an all or nothing statement).
Earlier today I finally saw The Two Towers!
It was amazing. I loved it all, even though some major things from the book were changed. Gollum is such a sad, pitiful, painful-to-watch creature, more so for me than he was in the book, and Frodo... oh Frodo. And Sam.
I like Legolas more now.
Other favorites/most moving/funny:
*Arwen imagining her future, left alone in mourning past when everything dies, if she chooses to stay in Middle Earth with Aragorn.
*Gandalf hanging on to that Balrog as they fall down and down into Moria, not giving up his life until he slays that motherfucker.
*Seeing that transformation that what's his name (the lord of Rohan?) makes from corrupted, muttering old old decrepit crone to strong lord when Gandalf frees him from Wormtongue's curse.
*the Gollum/Frodo parallel.
*Yay walking trees! Fighting back against Saruman!
*the way Frodo's eyes roll up into his head and he fingers that ring whenever the ring, the Eye, and/or ringwraiths call to him. Yeah, I do think it looks like he's having an orgasm.
*I'm embarrassed to keep knowing all the characters' names, but hey man, whatever, ok?!
*Just before the battle at Helm's Deep begins, Haldir coming to join with his army of elves from Lothlorien!
*The music! I didn't especially care for the music from the first movie, but the soundtrack to Two Towers is gorgeous. I think the difference is that there are more dark orchestral arrangements than ethereal choral pieces, so that when one of those ethereal, elvish-type parts comes up, you really notice the beauty in them.
Ok, wow. I did not mean to go on and on like that. Now I'm all embarrassed and stuff. This was just gonna be a quick little gush of love for my music and that movie.

Also, Episode 25(?): A Scathing Satire of Final Fantasy 7.
Never played Final Fantasy anything, but this also applies to Lord of the Rings. I was howling.
