So um. Anyone know how to get dried wax off of wood and carpet?

for wood, use a hard plastic card like a drivers liscence or bank card. how do i know this? it's happened to me before.

carpet... i dunno, you're screwed, missy.

Actually, I found this site on the internet that showed how to clean it. For wax on wood, you use a hairdryer on medium setting to melt the wax, then wipe the melted area with a soft cloth. For wax on the carpet, you put a thick, plain paper bag flat against the wax, then go over it with an iron on medium setting until all the wax has soaked into the bag, then you wipe the carpet with a soft cloth while the leftover wax is still soft to get rid of the rest.

I tried it, and it worked really well! The huge black spot on the ceiling, though... I wiped it for like an hour with a cloth, and it looks a little better, but all the little foam bump texture paint came off. Could've been worse, though.
