Spider

Yesterday morning when I was taking out the trash, I saw the most beautiful, enormous, perfectly symetrical spider web. You could tell that the spider had just finished making the web. Every thread was strong, smooth, and glistening, and the large spotted spider sat resting in the very center. I was sad though because one of its anchor threads was attached to the lid of the garbage can. I tried to very carefully pull the thread over and stick it to the garage, but it wouldn't stick, and the web sagged. When I came out just a few minutes later to put something else in the garbage, the spider had already reactached the anchor thread: back in the same exact spot on the garbage can lid. And I had to ruin the poor thing's web again.
