Probably community college first?
CC's:
*Peninsula College in Port Angeles, WA. Bonuses: Less rain than Portland! Wild beaches, nature nature! Need to visit the town and the school. Is it a place I could live and find a job and is it a good school and is it a cool town? Should also take a ferry to Victoria while I'm there.
*South Puget Sound CC in Olympia, WA. Need to visit and feel it out. May be rainier than I'm looking for. Should check out Evergreen State while I'm there.
*Bellingham, WA.
*Etc.
4-Year Colleges:
*U of Montana in Missoula, MT. Need to visit. Looking pretty cool. Need to visit.
*U of Alaska in Anchorage or Juneau (or Fairbanks, but probably not). Need to visit.
How do I pull off visiting all these schools? If I do Montana Conservation Corps next summer, that'd take care of Missoula. Washington would be easy to visit on weekend road trips. Alaska.... a bit more complicated. Juneau requires a ferry ride. Anchorage requires a plane flight, and plus a Fairbanks road trip. I really need a car to get around Alaska for these trips.
I need to get a driver's license, dude. It's beyond time.
By the way, while I'm on here:
I'm in Louisianna now. On the outskirts of New Orleans in St. Bernard's Parish. Living in what used to be an elementary school and is now called Camp Hope. I have been gutting out houses. It is very hot, messy work. We wear thick black coveralls and full face respirators and gloves and helmets and boots. In the deep South. We stopped in Atlanta on the way down here. More later.
