I love the following animals:

Wolves
Whales
Crows (and Ravens)
Bonobos

And here is a gigantic picture and a video from back at the sanctuary:

Before committing myself unconditionally to California, I'd considered New Mexico as a relocation possibility based on the proximity of the Land of Enchantment's biggest national parks to civilization (important for the Wife) and all the glowing testimonials I'd heard from anybody who'd ever lived or visited there. Images like this still tug at me, especially since we've had rain since Valentine's Day and see no end in sight. I hope we both get to visit New Mexico soon.

New Mexico is way cool. It's wide open and crusty, dusty and clean. When I think of New Mexico, I think of empty dirt roads, pinyon pines, and a ton of stars every night. One of the best things is during monsoon season, after a good hard rain, things smell so good. I don't know much about Albuquerque since I just passed through there. Santa Fe is beautiful and great, but a bit too new agey for my taste. Taos is neat.
